John Deere and GUSS Automation debuted the world’s first and only fully electric autonomous herbicide orchard sprayer, at the 2024 World Ag Expo in Tulare, California.

John Deere and GUSS Automation introduce the world’s first fully electric autonomous herbicide orchard sprayer, the Electric GUSS. Powered by KREISEL batteries, this innovative machine operates entire shifts on a single charge, enhancing productivity and profitability for farmers. The Electric GUSS not only reduces emissions but also offers precise spot spraying weed detection technology, leading to significant savings in materials and increased sustainability.
