Our greatest milestones
In 2014 KREISEL Electric was founded by the battery technology pioneers, Philipp, Johann, and Markus Kreisel. Eager to make a difference, they started to implement high performance battery solutions internationally, thus becoming a driving force for e-mobility. The family business began with electrification prototypes in the automotive sector. Today, KREISEL Electric produces standardized high voltage battery systems and chargers for commercial, off-highway, marine and motorsports applications.
2021
John Deere acquires majority ownership in KREISEL Electric.
2019
Start of battery system production based on the new module structure with 21700 cells.
2017
New Headquarter inauguration in Rainbach, Mühlkreis, including R&D and Testing center.
2014
Formation of KREISEL Electric GmbH & Co KG
2012
The KREISEL brothers successfully convert their first petrol car into an electric car.
