As Lead Engineer you are leading the design engineers within the project team. You are also the key point of contact for both internal and external interfaces. Furthermore, thanks to your profound CAD expertise you are able to make complex technical decision to ensure the project to be successful.
Your tasks
- Technical leadership of assigned design engineers within the technical department and coordination of external service providers as well as engineering partners
- Development of technical concepts and serial solutions for battery systems
- Technical decision-making responsibility within the project
- Release and verification of development results, CAD data, production data and parts lists according to applicable standards and internal guidelines parts
- Assignment and supervision product/component testing including results assessment and derivation of suitable measures
- Active participation in the design of new processes and guidelines for developing battery systems
Your profile
- Completed technical training (HTL / FH / Uni) with focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar
- Several years of professional experience in design or product engineering and ideally experience in the automotive sector and/or in the development of serial products
- Very good CAD knowledge and experience with PLM systems, preferably with CATIA V5 or V6 iVm. 3DX and/or PTC Creo iVm. Windchill
- Fluent German and English skills
- You like to expand your knowledge and want to share it with others
- You are a team player, engaged and you think outside the box
