With the new SUPER 1300‑5e, Joseph Vögele AG is introducing a fully electric road paver that is powered by battery technology from KREISEL Electric. The machine expands the range of electrified solutions in road construction and demonstrates how modern energy and drive systems enable zero-operating‑emission applications.
Electric solutions for modern infrastructure projects
The demands for sustainability, noise reduction, and local emission limits are increasing particularly in urban areas or sensitive environments. As a result, electric construction machinery is becoming increasingly important. The SUPER 1300‑5e addresses exactly these developments and expands Vögele’s E‑Power segment with a model designed for reduced emissions and quiet operation. A liquid‑cooled (di-electric fluid) lithium‑ion (NMC) battery from KREISEL Electric forms the core of the drive system and is engineered for daily use on construction sites.
A new step in electric road construction technology
The electric road paver SUPER 1300‑5e covers typical applications in small to medium‑scale road construction. It is ideally suited for projects where a compact machine size and zero‑emission operation are essential. The battery supplied by KREISEL Electric enables fully electric workday operation and provides the performance required for longer working periods.
Easy charging and compatible infrastructure
The machine can be charged at common charging points such as wallboxes or public charging stations. Depending on the charging power, the charging times vary, allowing the machine to be easily integrated into typical daily workflows.
The Wirtgen Group uses standardized battery and drive technologies across its machines. This allows operators to benefit from synergies in service, maintenance, and spare parts.
