The Kreisel battery pack significantly increases the capacity of the eGolf by 130% to 55.7 kWh with an identical installation volume and weight in comparison to the standard model of the VW eGolf. The high voltage battery in the production model has a capacity of 24.2 kWh at a weight of 330kg. The KREISEL battery improves the range of the compact electric car, without increasing weight or installation volume, to 350 – 450 km depending on driving style.

Quick charging in just 20 minutes

The technical prerequisites for quick-charging stations are already available in the Kreisel E-Golf. With the given infrastructure, loading is possible from 20% to 80% SOC within 20 minutes. This results in a range of about 300 km.

Liquid cooling ensures optimal conditions

Each cell in the battery of the Kreisel E-Golf is actively tempered with a special liquid. This is a non-conductive and noncombustible fluid, which in extreme cases even acts as a fire-retardant. This technology ensures that the battery cells are constantly kept in a working temperature range between 25°C and 30°C. Particularly at high charging capacities, the battery life can be considerably extended and wear phenomena can be reduced.
